Cody made this process feel possible to me! Especially by helping take the guesswork out of it so that I didn’t worry about re-injury. 

He listened to my goals, looked at what I had been doing through PT and additional exercise so far, and developed an individualized plan that could progress with me as I continued to gain strength and capacity again.

After having a good experience with physical therapy for a shoulder impingement injury, I was ready to exercise at a higher intensity again, but knew I needed to work my way back up to this in the ongoing healing process. Cody made this process feel possible to me! Especially by helping take the guesswork out of it so that I didn’t worry about re-injury. 

He listened to my goals, looked at what I had been doing through PT and additional exercise so far, and developed an individualized plan that could progress with me as I continued to gain strength and capacity again. He provided resources, like shared tracking sheets, to help note progress, questions, and changes to plans along the way, which enhanced our communication. His manner is so encouraging that it made the meetings and workouts together feel especially positive as well. He made sure I was comfortable with the plan developed and that I knew how to do each element in the plan before moving forward. When I ask questions, he can make complex concepts simple and interesting, and he also helped me see capacity I had gained when I wasn’t sure I could do certain exercises yet. I reached goals of gaining more shoulder function and strength again and have been able to move onto additional health and fitness goals with Cody at my own pace!

Cody’s ability to work remotely, so I can meet with him in the comfort of my own home, was a definite plus. And his flexibility in scheduling, as well as checking in with me between meetings, was so helpful!
