I first started going to Cody when I was experiencing painful plantar fasciitis. As a runner, this threw a huge dent in my exercise routine to the point that, well, I didn’t have one. The foot and ankle doc I saw made some recommendations I wasn’t very excited about, so I went to Cody. He listened to the specific areas that were causing me pain and he built a long-term recovery plan with goals for the next few weeks. I went home after that first session with education on why and how to do a couple exercises. More importantly, I was feeling more hopeful than I had in months! Over the next several weeks, Cody reached out to me with new exercises, stretches, and encouragement and prioritized my body’s schedule and never rushed or advanced the exercises too quickly. I really can’t recommend Cody Koontz enough. He is so knowledgeable and always has helpful advice. Instead of immediately telling me what was wrong he thoughtfully listened to how I was feeling and considered my injury alongside my lifestyle to understand the full picture. Not only that, Cody is generous with his time and his knowledge. He went above and beyond.
